It was a pretty good weekend. We went and visited some friends of our who we hadn't seen in *several* months. These are the same friends we want to move closer to once we sell our house. We mostly just spent all day talking, eating, and drinking soda-pop :-) We were there all day. In fact, we ended up staying an hour later than we had intended because to the one and a half our drive home. But we did manage to get home before it became totally dark, so it's all good.
The rest of the weekend, Sunday, was spent watching basketball on my part, napping, watching television, and working on splitting some wood.

It DOES sound like you had a great weekend. I am glad you finally got to visit your friends.
DH and I? We played Halo 2 all weekend. OH! And we were viewed as "suspicious" people by the police!
You know our hours (we keep "tweaker" hours, thanks to DH's job... stay up forever). DH and I got on a tangent about weapons, and started going through our ammunition. Turned out we had a lot of corroded rounds (given to us by DH's grandfather). Well, what do you do with those? I called the PD to find out what to do with them (was there a place we could take them) and the officer said they could come pick them up. Great! She said they would not be able to come that night (since it was 11 PM) then put me on hold. She came back and said they COULD come by tonight, if we were going to be awake. Sure, we stay up forever!
When the cop showed up, he was asking us more questions than applied to our situation, which we cautiously answered. By the time he left, we were almost buddies. Thinking about it, we knew how odd it looked but hey! If we weren't on some watch list before we are now! LOL!
