Building 6 Travis Station bee problem cleanup

Apparently there was a huge colony of bees above the second floor staircase. That was Friday, and this was the cleanup. Not good. I'm guessing it was quitting time for bee handlers :-(

These pictures were taking Sunday afternoon, but the "work" was done on Friday, 2 days ago.

I hate apartment complexes.

I would've thought since there are little kids that live in this building that they wouldn't leave so many dead bees laying around though. Hmm...

Have they cleaned it up yet?
I would think the mess they left behind is a lot worse than the bees living there. Why did they kill rather than relocate? I *know* they relocate bees.
On a different note, I did not get notice of your reply comment even though I was signed in to comment. And you and A are not showing up on my Blogger Dashboard anymore. Stupid Google.

Just checked and nope, nothing has been cleaned up. I did send an email with pictures to the apartment manager though, didn't help. As for why they didn't relocate, I have no idea. I can ask if you really want to know, otherwise it doesn't really matter to me.

I didn't originally see A's comment on the blog site (though I did get notified) because it was marked as spam. I unmarked it and it posted. So maybe check *your* comment folder/page for spam.

Okay, going to go start the beans so we can have chili tonight.
