We had a pretty good day. We went to the mall in the big city of Springfield after we went to a beauty supply store and stopped by The Next Generation tattoo place to get a price on a small tattoo that my wife is thinking about. The size she wants will cost around $80, so we'll start saving so she can get it.

The 1st thing we did once we got into the mall was go to the food court. Was surprised a little that about 4 of the restaurants had closed down. Luckily the ones that we still open were the ones we usually get food from anyway. That was Arby's and some pizza place. Lunch was good.

Then we wondered around (mostly straight to Game Stop) where the kids bought 2 games for the Wii. As you can see, it didn't take them long to start playing. I know one of the game was a Mario Cart, but don't ask which one.

That shirt and those shoes on the girl are what else she bought for herself using some of her tip money from the Cosmetology College.

A couple of days ago we got a new-2-us barrel to burn our trash in. While my wife was napping I took the trash out and burned it. Ain't it purty? LOL. I put a piece of plywood that has been laying out back for a while, on it to keep the rain from filling the barrel and turning any ash in it to mush.

While I was out there waiting to put the lid on the barrel I thought I'd see if I could see a hole in our above ground pool's lining that caused it to have a major leak last summer. As you can see, I think I found where the water was leaking from. Not sure if the patch and glue stuff we have in the closet will work. For 1, the liner itself is pretty caked-up with lime residue thus making it somewhat brittle. 2, we've had the patch kit in the bedroom closet for a couple of years. Should still be good, but I won't swear to that. Probably will either just get a new liner or not even bother since we didn't use it all that much before it started leaking last summer anyway.

And THAT was our day!

The girl I work with LOVES Mario cart! That's a pretty good price on the ink art too. I have never been able to decide on anything I want to look at as long term as a tat is, so I have never done that.
To Lee: That's how I have always been, but looking through a lot of really cool pictures of beautiful artwork made me want one. So many to choose from. I'd suggest going to a tattoo shop and looking at what they have.
To Arp: It's very common at least in our county. We're in one of if not the biggest counties in Missouri and there's not a dump closer than an hour's drive away. Just easier to burn than to haul.
