Don't know if it'll help stop the 'spam' from an alleged Chinese spammers, but I'm setting my blog comments so you have to put in the letters seen in the, uh, um, letter box? before posting your comment. If that doesn't work, I'll change to having always having to approve the comments, which I DON'T want to do.

I can't remember if I've had to resort to a captcha yet on my blog? ... Best go check that though, because the delightul nonreadables will find me eventually! Hope it works :)

I tried setting the moderation to 'only on posts 3 days or older', but got spam the same day I posted. Hence the switch to captcha.
Does Blogspot have something like Akismet on Wordpress.com sites? That checks comments to see if it is spam or not.
@Arp: Not that I know of. In fact, I've never heard of that. What a good idea :)
