Busy day, lots done, 4th weekaversary

Started out this morning by being awoken by my son telling me, "We're going out early today". That meant I had to get out of bed at 9 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. like I had been all week. Poor, poor me. LOL. So, by 10 o'clock we were out the door and headed to the place in Buffalo that was going to be doing a safety inspection on our van. So, the did that for $12. Yes, we passed! Over to the driver's licence beuro to renew our plates, and for us that meant getting them with the handicap symbol ON the plates, rather than a placard to hang on the mirror. Since we were ONE day late, it was $5 more than we had planned, but not a big deal. We now have handicap plates though :-) From there we went to the cigarette store to get Rain a carton of smokes because she was jonesing. *grin* That taken care of, we headed over to Sonic for breakfast. Then to the feed store to get chops (chopped corn) for the chickens and ducks. Next we went on into Lebanon to the bank to get the kids' allowance/chore money. They then had enough to get the new GameCube and the Naruto game they've been wanting (total: $149). But before we went to Wal-Mart for that, we had to stop and get lottery tickets, which we did. Last week we told the kids (and ourselves) that we would treat us all to ice-cream frosty's at Sonic, Dairy Queen, or Wendy's. Well, we decided on Wendy's. They weren't bad, but I think the next time we'll get them at Sonic, although we like Dairy Queen's better, Sonic is less expensive. *grin* THEN we went to Wal-Mart to do our monthly major grocery shopping, and of course the kids got the game system and game - Naruto: Clash of Ninja. *smile* We finally got everything done and returned home around 3-3:30 p.m. - a long day driving around. At one point though, we stopped and filled our gas tank, which cost us at little over $50 bucks. *sigh* Could've been more though, I suppose. So, that was OUR day, how was yours? Or should I say, "How's your day been so far?" ? :-)

And last but NOT least, today is the end of the FOURTH WEEK of NOT smoking! Congratulations, Me! *patting myself on my back* *BIG GRIN*
